Under NRHM, Samagra Seva organized 12-day training program for ASHAs in three districts of Jamui, Lakhisarai and Sheikhpura in which 45 master trainers were trained under the trainers’ training and then these master trainers provided training to a total of 2,176 ASHAs in 68 batches as per the training modules 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the Government of India. The training inputs have successfully put into practice by the trained ASHAs in their respective areas of service.

Samagra Seva also organized IEC program by training and street plays in four districts for creating awareness about the biannual Vitamin A supplementation rounds with the assistance from Micronutrient Initiative India (MII), New Delhi. As a result, 90-95 percent eligible children were covered by the round in these districts.
